Dr. Lalit S. Kanodia

Dr. Lalit Kanodia completed his B. Tech from IIT Bombay (1963) in Mechanical Engineering, his MBA from MIT (1965) in Management and his Ph.D. from MIT (1967) in Management. He was the first Indian to obtain his Ph.D. in Management from MIT, USA.
Dr. Kanodia is a distinguished Alumnus Awardee of IIT, Bombay; and Ford Foundation Fellow for highest GPA in the MBA Class at MIT.
Dr. Kanodia is the Founder CEO of TCS (Tata Consultancy Services). He was a Consultant to Ford Motor Co., Arthur D. Little in USA, Consultant to State Bank of India; Kamanis, Somanis, etc. in India.
He taught MBA students at MIT and at the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management.
Dr. Kanodia has a plethora of experience in various fields. He was the President of Management Consultants of India (1979 – 1980); Executive Board Member of MIT, USA (2009 – 2016); National President of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (2015 – 2016); President of IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2017 – 2018) and Honorary Consul of Chile in Mumbai (2002 – 2014). He is currently Member, Advisory Board of Bombay University.
